The Lying Game

Quick take

They'd lie to anyone and everyone about everything, except they'd never lie to each other.

Why I love it

Book of the Month

From the author of Book of the Month member favorite The Woman in Cabin 10, The Lying Game is the story of four former boarding school friends who made a game out of lying—they'’d lie to anyone and everyone about everything, except they’d never lie to each other. When, years later, three of the friends receive a distressed text from the fourth, the women must come together to face the truth, and what has been false all along.

I definitely enjoyed the story, just as much as I enjoy guessing the endings ahead of time. I was able to do so in this case, yet again, but I found it to still be a rewarding and a fitting end.

I loved this book. I read the whole thing in 2 days. Ruth Ware has a way of leading you down one path, then jumping out in front of you when you least expect it. She's done it again.

This was a really good read. I couldnt put it down. The author did a really good job of building the characters and you find yourself acdelting behaviors you may not normally accept.
