Our reading challenge is a book-reading competition that’s exclusive to our app. As long as you have the app, you’re in!
Check your progress by reviewing titles on the challenge page—each time you rate and review a book that you purchased in either 2025 or 2026, we’ll count it toward your 2026 reading challenge goal. To complete the challenge, you must complete the Book Boss badge (rate 15 total books), plus 3 of the following 8 badges:
- Debut Darling (Rate 5 hardcover books from debut authors)
- Long Hauler (Rate 4 hardcover books with 400+ pages)
- Hot Taker (Write a review along with your rating for 5 hardcover or audiobooks)
- Omnivoreader (Rate hardcover or audiobooks from at least 6 different genres)
- Horse’s Mouth (Rate 3 audiobooks narrated by the author themselves)
- All Ears (Rate 6 total audiobooks)
- Centenarian (Rate and review 3 of the Centennial Edition hardcover books)
- Offsetter (Rate and review 4 of the hardcover or audiobooks from the Offset collection)
Once you complete the challenge, you will be able to pick a free reward to ship in your next box, and you might even unlock another level of the challenge! The 2026 Reading Challenge will end when January 2027 books drop, so make sure you rate all of the books you read before then to correctly mark your progress. Good luck and happy reading!
