Emily thinks Adam’s perfect; the man she thought she’d never meet. But lurking in the shadows is a rival; a woman who covets a deep bond with him.

Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose Pammie, his mother. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

I have never wanted to punch a character in the face the way I wanted to punch Emily. I thought about quitting the book but I’m glad I didn’t—the twist in the last two chapters changed everything!

Great book. I didn’t see the ending coming but knew there was something off. I had a hard time putting this book down because I needed to know. You felt for the main character and really hated the mom

Alot of us have mother in laws like this women, although not quite as bad I'm sure. The ending was awesome and made me sad it was over. I couldn't stop reading it. The best book I've gotten from here.
