Synopsis

Emily thinks Adam’s perfect; the man she thought she’d never meet. But lurking in the shadows is a rival; a woman who covets a deep bond with him.

Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose Pammie, his mother. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

I have never wanted to punch a character in the face the way I wanted to punch Emily. I thought about quitting the book but I’m glad I didn’t—the twist in the last two chapters changed everything!

Great book. I didn’t see the ending coming but knew there was something off. I had a hard time putting this book down because I needed to know. You felt for the main character and really hated the mom
