Synopsis
Carriwitchet, the violent, rugby-esque game played atop winged beasts, was once Taissa Cho’s whole life, and she was once the United Kingdom’s most promising player. Why we chose it...
We’ve always thought that sports would be more interesting if giant winged beasts were involved, so we were absolutely riveted by the bloody, breathtaking game of Carriwitchet.
The angsty rivals-to-allies-to-lovers arc between the book’s main characters had us on the edge of our stadium seats as their passion for the game culminated in a steamy romance.
The lovable misfits on this underdog sports team were easy to root for and reminded us of the beauty of found family.
